Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS)
Under the leadership of the Austrian Association for Financial Analysis and Asset Management (ÖVFA) and the Austrian Association of Investment Fund Management Companies (VÖIG) a commission had been created in order to examine the possible implementation of these global industry standards in Austria. The commission finally decided to fully implement the standards one-to-one.

The by the commission provided translation is now considered both the official and from the Investment Performance Council (AIMR) recognized German translation world-wide.
